The Lester F. Larsen Tractor Test & Power Museum was presented with the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Connecting to Collections Bookshelf in 2009. This set of collections care resources is designed to assist small to mid-sized museums and libraries in caring for their collections. IMLS distributed 2,000 copies free of charge as part of the Connecting to Collections: A Call to Action initiative.
With these and other resources, the museum is currently developing a collections management policy.
