Co-op E3 Restoration Project

One student organization recognized by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is the Tractor Restoration Club (TRC). This club meets weekly to perform maintenance, repair, and restoration on tractors found within the Larsen Museum Collection. The club has an advisor in the Museum Educational Associate and is supervised by the Director of the Fleet Management Committee.

Each year the Fleet Management Committee and the TRC selects a restoration project. The 2009 project is on a Co-op E3. The Tractor was donated to the museum by Ned Meier of Grand Island, Nebraska

Before work began, available resources related to the tractor were collected. The repair parts list for an identical tractor model, the Cockshutt 30 tractor was available in the tractor test archives. This document was digitized and is available here. Below is a reference chart to available parts diagrams.
